How to Set-Up Your Motorcycle Suspension Correctly When Installing an Aftermarket Performance Link

To set up your dirt bike suspension correctly after installing a Performance Transformer Pull Rod takes some effort. Most tool boxes have a flat head screw driver, a hammer, hopefully a punch, a set of metric wrenches, and sockets, oh! and a tape measure. These tools are standard for any at home tool boxes. People use them! don't be afraid. You can return the setting back to what they were as long as you wrote them down. You will be amazed with the feel you get when adjusting the suspension clickers. Just make sure you write your setting down before you go click crazy.

We will always recommend getting the suspension set up correctly from a respectable suspension company for the rider just because then you don't have to search so hard for the initial feel good feel.

OK! so now you have a good feel good feel. Now lets make it better!
When you install the Performance Transformer Pull Rod all you will really have to do is make small adjustments, if any, to make the handling better.

1. Make sure you go over all the bolts to make sure your bike doesn't fall apart in the air.
2. Start with the recommended rider sag setting, but adjust more or less pre load on the spring to find your feel.
3. Raise and lower the fork tubes. (changing the fork tube height will give you a lot of feed back ) Don't be afraid!
"This is fun so make sure you smile and don't get frustrated LOL!"
3. Its always good to start at the recommended compression and rebound setting.
*Dont make adjustment to every clicker that you have all at once before you ride. You want to know what did what, so adjust one adjustment at a time so you know what adjustment did what.
*Make huge adjustment if you don't feel anything, that way the feel will smack you right in your senses and you will remember it better.
4. WRITE IT DOWN
* This is so important WRITE IT DOWN and put it in your owners manual or tool box for the next race or test day.

BAM! Did You Get That? Your lucky its on the internet SON! LOL!
